Leaves of Ink

I received my first Acceptance Letter of the New Year today from Leaves of Ink. I'm really excited about this one. Six of my Cinquain are going to be published on February 6, 2015.

I was hoping to find homes for more of my short poems this year, so I'm definitely getting off to a solid start with six of them being accepted all at once. That's the most number of poems I've ever had accepted at one time to be published together.

I think it's going to be another very good year.

New Year's Resolution Achieved - 100 Poems Accepted for Publication in 2014

On Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at 8:23am, I made two New Year's Resolutions:

I resolved that I would write every day.

Additionally, I resolved that I would have 100 poems accepted for publication during this calendar year.

As of Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 1:15am (Email Time), I achieved my second resolution. And two months ahead of schedule, no less.

"Storm" is officially my 100th poem accepted this year. It's a cinquain, but it counts.  

Needless to say, I am very happy. I do believe this is the first time I have ever been so successful with a New Year's Resolution.
